This salt and pepper shaker set was designed the the Render Weekly challenge on Instagram. This fun form nests the salt and pepper shakers together. This lets you slide the salt and pepper down the table at once and make dinner a playful experience. I wanted the form to accentuate the spiral movement while stacking them.
I decided to 3D print a functioning prototype in order to prove the concept and make sure the proportions and movement felt right. To my surprise the tolerances worked well the first try and the screw lids also worked.
